Bad Work Stories Made Good

Is School Leadership in the UK Colourblind?

Emma Matthews and Corina Roobeck

Tell us what you like about our show and share your Bad work stories so we can help. Thanks Emma & Corina

We are on a mission to end suffering at work.

Bad work stories are everywhere - they are stressful - sucking our time, attention and precious energy, and for a lot of us, we take the stress home.

A great leader once said - “Be the change you want to see in the world “, and that's what we do here.

We must do something different if we want more joy and healthy collaboration in our teams and organisations. Take what resonates with you, and let us know how you get on.

This week, we welcome a very special guest Betty Johnson from Rinnovate Recruitment who Corina met at an Education Leaders Conference in November last year. We explore the lack of Black and Minority educators in senior leadership positions in the UK..

The shocking statistics combined with Betty's own lived experience and how this has shaped her purpose and passion to provide support and leadership needed to drive change.

Listen as she details strategies to proactively equip Black educators for success and what Leaders and Policy Makers in Education can do to create truly diverse and inclusive environments. What Betty shares is universal to all leaders and all enterprises.

Her deep care and passion for this change is inspirational.
